Rules of the road

Copy exactly, always. The copy is the controlled constant — layout and format are the test. Rewording quietly breaks the experiment (and voids the compliance sign-off).
Localise everything. AUD $, ABN/GST/Pty Ltd, "Australian businesses". No UK £ or "UK businesses" left in — that’s a real defect we’re fixing.
Matcher, never lender. "Compare specialist AU lenders" — never "we lend / approve / fund". If a claim feels off, flag it; don’t rewrite it.
Build each video in one sitting. Leaving a draft mid-build can lock you out. Trust a reload over a stuck "Generating" counter.
Equal budgets, no favourites. Every creative gets the same spend in Week 1. Boosting one you like breaks the test. Launch grouped by ad set, end of day — same-copy cells in separate ad sets bid against each other and poison the data.
